Denmark ranks among the safest countries in the world for women to live

You can go to Denmark bravely. According to new studies, Denmark is the world's safest country for women to live in.

This Scandinavian country ranked first among women-friendly countries, according to a UN survey of women around the world.

The survey-based on human rights, gender equality, security, life and career growth and equal pay. More than 20,000 women from 73 countries participated in the survey.

Out of 10, Denmark had a score of 9.6, Equal Pay 9.2, Security 9.8, Life and Career Growth 7.9 and Human Rights 9.8. Sweden comes in second. Sweden got ten out of ten for human rights.

The third-place got the Netherlands and it has full marks on human rights. In 19th place in Portugal. Eighteen of Japan.

India ranks 133 on the Women Peace and Security Index. The study conducted by Georgetown Institute of Women, in partnership with the National Geographic of Peace and Security. The studies say about the best countries for women's rights, most female-friendly countries.
