Drink plenty of water. Drinking enough water (approximately three liters a day) helps to thin the urine, expels all unnecessary toxins from the body and prevents kidney stones.

3. Food


Eat only foods that contain fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid processed foods, sugar, fat, and meat. Reduce salt intake from food, it helps to prevent high blood pressure and bladder stones.

Uric acid is a chemical produced when the body breaks down the substance purine. Purines are usually produced in the body and can also be found in certain foods and beverages. Foods with high content of purines include liver, anchovies, mackerel, dried beans, seaweed and beer.

Kidney regulates uric acid levels in the blood. Two thirds of the uric acid in the body excreted in the urine and one-third in the stool. Uric acid increases in the blood due to any kidney damage and high protein intake in our diet.
