"How to grow hair faster and thicker home remedies"

There are many home remedies for hair regrowth. Here I suggest some solutions for regrowth and prevents hair fall. But these solutions will not give you instant results, you should apply this for at least two weeks and you will see the difference.

Onion Juice

Take one onion, peel it, and chop into small pieces.  Grind it well in a mixer and make it as a juice. Apply the juice directly to the scalp or the hair roots.

If the smell of onion is too much, add some lemon juice/rose water/lavender oil.

Note: If you have any fever or sinusitis/tonsillitis/allergy, please do not use it.   

Castor Oil

Massaging your scalp regularly with cold-pressed castor oil (now available online) is one of the easiest ways to get thicker hair naturally. Moreover, it has high in vitamin E and fatty acids, it helps to hair growth.

  • Take equal quantity of castor oil and coconut oil (1:1) and heat it. Castor oil is too thick than other oils. Apply it on your scalp and gently massage in the circular.
  • Gently comb your hair for spreading oil to your head.
  • Cover your hair with a towel moistened with look warm water. Wait for one hour and then shampoo your hair as usual.
  • Do this once a week to grow thick hair.

Curry leaves and coconut oil

Take a handful of fresh curry leaves and 3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Pour coconut oil into a pan and add the curry leaves. Heat oil until you notice a black residue around the leaves.

Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool. Once it is cool, filter it. Now you can apply it to your hair. Gently massage in your scalp with the help of your fingertips. (do not touch nail edges in the scalp)

More concentrate to apply the oil on the roots of your hair. After one hour rinse it with Ayurveda shampoo. You can store this hair oil for a long time. This will help to remove gray colored hair also.


Neem is one of the most commonly used herbal remedies for natural hair care. It has used for centuries as a natural remedy for scalp and hair problems.

Neem has antioxidant properties that protect hair and skin from harmful UV rays, pollution, and other environmental factors. This herb contains vitamins and fatty acids to improve and keep up healthy hair growth.

Aloe vera

Another very useful herb that can make thicker hair is aloe vera. It has a moisturizer quality. It helps to restore the pH balance of our scalp.
Extract the gel from one or two aloe vera leaves and apply it on to your scalp. Wait for 15  minutes and rinse your hair with lukewarm water. Do this once or twice a week/on a regular basis.

Mix two teaspoons of coconut milk in aloe vera gel and apply it to your scalp. Wait for half an hour before rinse your hair. Repeat it once or twice a week.

You can also take in one tablespoon aloe vera juice daily on an empty stomach. It is better for hair growth and overall health.

Intermittent Fasting and Hair growth

No, intermittent fasting has not been proven to impede hair growth. However, if you adopt the right diet, it can cause your hair to become stronger and healthier over time. In most cases, those who start intermittent fasting may experience temporary hair loss.
