VISA is for short stay of 30 days. Kerala became the one and only state having the T-VoA enabled with ETA in India.

Visa on arrival facility is effective from November 27 2014. The T- VoA enabled with ETA will allow tourists to apply and pay the fee for the visa online, without having to travel to the Indian missions in their home countries.

Applicants who are approved will receive the official travel authorization via email and only need to present a printed copy of this to the immigration authorities upon their arrival in India.

2 billion and 74 lac passengers traveled through Dubai's land and sea border

According to the Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, the total number of passengers traveling through Dubai in the first six months of 2019 was 2 billion and 74 lac passengers. Most of them traveled through Dubai's land and sea border. 

Dubai International Airport's 122 smart gate used 5.7 million passengers during this period. Between January 1 and June 30 this year, 9.5 million entry and resident visas were issued in Dubai. 

Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Chief of Staff of the GDRFA Dubai, said: we are prepared to provide better services for travelers traveling through Dubai during the summer holiday season.

This is the season for the largest increase in passenger numbers. Officials said that the department is making good arrangements to provide better services without delays anywhere.
